Piecing Together the Artwork

Jethro and I planning our photo-shoot around the old arcades of Paris. Most were built during the first few decades of the 18th Century and are nowadays full of eateries and bric-a-brac shops.

Passage Jouffroy. Full of old-fashioned opticians

One of my favourite shots on the right. An arcade just off Montmartre full of little restaurants wafting odours  of freshly cooked food. The chef in the background is taking a well-earned fag break

Starting to develop the theme. Many locations laid out as a mosaic…as fragments. Jethro tried to frame me in the same position at each arcade

The back sleeve: sifting through sketches and writing.
